Optical Transceiver is a fiber optic communication module  (first person perspective) systems. It is mainly used in unmanned aerial vehicle or robot systems to transmit key data such as high-definition videos, remote control signals, and data through fiber optics instead of traditional wireless image transmission or cable transmission.
optical transceiver is a device that converts electrical signals (such as HDMI, CVBS, UART, SBUS, CRSF, etc.) into optical signals and transmits them at high speed and low latency through optical fibers. It usually consists of two parts: the sky end (unmanned aerial vehicle end) and the ground end.
1. Sky End (TX)
Connect flight control, camera, and remote control receiver
Power supply (commonly 5V/12V)
Convert the signal into an optical signal output
2. Ground end (RX)
Connect to monitor, ground station, and upper computer
Receive optical signals and decode them into raw electrical signals
Connect to ground remote control (bidirectional system)
